Collier County Museum – Grapefruit Gala

Description
Celebrate the region’s rich history, its grapefruit-growing roots, and county founder Barron Collier’s birthday at this whimsical, Everglades-style country dance with live music by local fiddler and storyteller J. Robert Houghtaling. Come as you are and sample some delicious Florida citrus, hear a tall tale or two, and dance away your cares at this gala in the glades where Collier County began. Casual attire encouraged; no ties required.
